2010 Data Quality Asia Pacific Award Winner
Accor Hospitality
Christopher King, Corporate Information Manager
“Participating in the IAIDQ Data Asia Pacific Quality Award was certainly challenging but greatly rewarding. We were thrilled just to have been nominated as a finalist; then to have won the inaugural award is a great distinction. As I mentioned in my presentation – participating in the award was a great way to promote executive support for Data Quality. Being recognised for our efforts by industry peers is a fantastic endorsement for the Data Quality work that we have completed to date and provides great encouragement that we are on the right track to achieve our goals. There is no doubt in my mind that receiving this award will lead to further enhancements of our Data Quality culture at Accor, and I sincerely thank the many Accor personnel that continue to support Data Quality Improvement. I also thank IAIDQ and the Ark Group for organising the award and encourage all interested parties to get their applications ready for next year”.

2010 Data Quality Asia Pacific Award
Finalist
National e-Health Transition Authority
Tatiana Stebakova,, Manager Information and Standards Unique Healthcare Identifier Program
“Being a finalist of the DQ Asia Pacific Award has drawn greater attention from NEHTA senior management to the subject of Data Quality. My participation in the awards illustrated to senior management the important role that data quality played in the successful implementation of DQ components into the new National Healthcare Identification System. As a result of the organisational awareness built through the DQ Awards, a structured and governed approach is now part of every NEHTA iniative, and more members of our organisation are willing to learn about it.".
