DQ 09 Promises Exciting Line Up of Speakers



With the credit crisis and elections taking front and centre of the news headlines, the issue of data is becoming an increasingly prominent issue - the solutions however are not clear cut.

The challenge of making data decisions and understanding the business value of improved data management, is something DQ Asia Pacific 2009's highly regarded keynotes, Larry P. English and Dr. Thomas C. Redman, have successfully achieved to international renown.

Dr. Redman, a popular speaker at last year's event, is keen to share his experiences and the wisdom shared in his latest book, Data Driven: Profiting from your most important business asset.

"I was very impressed ealier this year with the good work that Australian compies are doing to advance data quality. All of the most urgent problems of our day, from resolving the credit crisis, to fixing health care, to saving the environment, require far better data. So I'm looking forward to returning next year".

Larry English, who established the IAIDQ with Dr Redman, will discuss how quality management systems can be used to improve data and information management.Practical case study presentations from the likes of Shell, National Australia Bank and Ernst & young will add further opportunities to explore crucial topics and latest methodologies.

Additional presentations and four interactive post conferene workshops will cover such relevant issues as data matching, governance, data integration, data warehousing and business intelligence.

Other event highlights include DQ All-Stars session, which will allo participants to pose thier questions to our expert panel and includes both keynote speakers.
